Linda Coe's past as a glass artist sheds light on her current computer-generated art: when precision is essential but surprising results embraced, both creator and consumer can expect fulfillment. Because Linda passes so convincingly as Ellicott Design's serious grown-up, you'd never know how much time she spends jumping through hoops with her dog. A woman of many interests and influences, Linda is loathe to pick a favorite anything (thus forcing the interviewer to think outside the box), although she does express partiality for those clients who love everything she does and don't make her stay late. Linda asks that she please not be shipwrecked on a desert island because she doesn't want to choose which book to take. But when we are looking for excellence in content-heavy design such as data sheets, catalogues, and corporate brochures, Linda is our favorite.
